The approval would mean the W995a could very well make its way across the US and Canada in due time, and will be the second Sony Ericsson handset that comes with an 8-megapixel camera. The FCC has just approved the Sony Ericsson W995 which will be known as the W995a in this part of the world. 5mm headset jack, the Walkman 4. 0 player software, shake controls, TrackID, Bluetooth connectivity and built-in stereo speakers.
