Sony released its Sony GPS-CS3KA photo tagger on Amazon without much fanfare, and this device is the natural successor to the Sony CS1 which made its debut approximately a couple of years back. The new and improved CS3KA device is able to identify the location of both photos and videos as well as their particular dates. Needless to say, intra-company devices will play nice with the CS3KA, and the GPS image tracker is obviously compatible with most Cyber-shot digital cameras and camcorders.

It is available for pre-order for $150 each and will ship on March 29th. You will power the CS3KA with a choice of alkaline or Ni-Mh batteries. It reads data off a Memory Stick or SD memory cards, and has up to 15 hours of battery life on a full charge.

Sounds promising to us – just don’t go spoiling those songs with your warbling.

Available at UK stores this March 20th onwards, they will be ready to meet the needs of those who want to pick up SingStar Pop Edition for PS3 this April. Sony has just rolled out a new bunch of wireless SingStar microphones that are touted to be “easy to pass around”. These accessories are lead-free, which is good for the environment, although we’re not sure whether the voices that accompany them will be a disturbance to the local peace or not.

Apart from the lovely built-in camera, you can expect to enjoy your music on the W995a with the 3.

The approval would mean the W995a could very well make its way across the US and Canada in due time, and will be the second Sony Ericsson handset that comes with an 8-megapixel camera. The FCC has just approved the Sony Ericsson W995 which will be known as the W995a in this part of the world. 5mm headset jack, the Walkman 4. 0 player software, shake controls, TrackID, Bluetooth connectivity and built-in stereo speakers. No idea on which carrier will offer the W995a when it becomes available though – what do you think will be the asking price?

Rumors persist that both the PS3 Slim and PSP Go are actually real items, although they won’t be released as planned. As for the PSP Go, that ought to be announced at E3 as planned, but it will exist alongside the PSP-3000 for a while at least to see how market forces react, and also to avoid abandoning its traditional game format completely with the PSP Go’s UMD-less “feature”. The PS3 Slim might not make it in time for an E3 announcement since it wouldn’t ship until August or September, as Sony wants to clear up existing stocks before replacing the full size models.
