As for the second apparatus, it is the Bodyweight Support device that looks rather painful for males to wear (as you can see on the right) if the height is not adjusted to suit the wearer.

The first prototype will be a wearable device that helps the aged as well as those who suffer from weakened leg muscles to move around, and it is known as the Stride Management apparatus which is worn around the waists, hips and thighs. It will help you in your gait while assisting you in some heavy lifting – a perfect future Father’s Day gift, perhaps? Folks in New York will be able to feast their eyes on a couple of robotic walking and lifting assistant exoskeletons from Honda Motor tomorrow, giving a glimpse into the future where humans will be endowed with artificially superhuman strength.

They might have great hardware with this release, but as we’ve always maintained, value is in the software and we hope to see Dell integrate both software and hardware well to deliver an unbeatable user experience. Unfortunately, there is no specific launch window to date, and specifications are still shrouded in the dark as with the Dell Adamo. Word has it that Dell is inching closer towards its maiden smartphone – at least that’s what a research note by Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu says. Unless Dell is able to churn out something better than the iPhone or Palm Pre, things look pretty bleak.

One would expect Dell to embrace Windows Mobile as the operating system of choice based on the company’s tradition, but in this time and age, even old alliances can part ways.

This Android-powered device is said to launch sometime from the beginning of Q3 onwards, but apart from that, very little else is known save for the company’s aim to “integrate telephony to its future multimedia internet tablet” and deliver “communication and entertainment in a single mobile device”. Archos hopes that 2009 will be a good year with plans to roll out a new multimedia internet tablet that is powered by the Android platform. Hopefully this year will be a better one for Archos (as well as all the other companies in the world) – it’d be a shame to see them bow out of the business.

This pre-release version will see similar features as found in the full version, where the latter will be available later this month. The name Emtrace Technologies is synonymous with the first Exchange ActiveSync push e-mail for the Android platform in the world, and they have just rolled out a free trial version of Moxier Mail Pre-release. Corporate users might want to give this a go if they want something efficient and easy.

Some of the important features include direct push synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 & 2007, a secure environment with SSL support, HTML Email with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and a dummy-proof method of receiving, replying, composing and deleting emails on-the-go.
