None of the specs is out of this world and this seems plausible, but of course treat this as Entertainment rather than Information. Did I see WI-FI? Again it all seems plausible. The Sony Style US website might have (or have not) leaked a new type of DLSR range, where the Sony a500, Sony a550 and Sony a850 were listed.

Word on the street has it that these new range of Sony DSLR cameras will come with video recording capabilities. This ought to be true, we guess, since a rather similar leak occured at Sony Style Canada’s website a few months back, albeit without listing the a850.

If you wonder, storage options are SDHC or Memory Stick. If you happen to have a Sony Bravia TV that has Bravia Sync, you will be able to control the slideshow from the TV’s remote control. HDMI output has been added for users who want to show their photos directly to the big TV.

The A-230 weighs 15. 9oz (450g) and all three are more compact than previous models. The user interface has been changed to be more intuitive, but we’ll have to try that in the field to confirm. All models feature a swivel LCD display that is helpful when taking shots from an odd angle, or simply by extending the arm – that’s really useful in a crowd, you can trust us on that one.
