Anyhow, it shows a Nikon DSLR with a swivel LCD display. ). The name, still under intense debate could be D500 or D5000, depending on who you talk to. A 12-15 Megapixel resolution is mentioned, a non-HD video mode, and everyone seems to agree on an April 14th launch date.

None of the specs is out of this world and this seems plausible, but of course treat this as Entertainment rather than Information. Did I see WI-FI? Again it all seems plausible. (Above: not actual photo). The poster goes on saying that the Camera would be announced at PMA in April, along with 3 new lenses. Cool!

Word on the street has it that these new range of Sony DSLR cameras will come with video recording capabilities. This ought to be true, we guess, since a rather similar leak occured at Sony Style Canada’s website a few months back, albeit without listing the a850.

If you wonder, storage options are SDHC or Memory Stick. If you happen to have a Sony Bravia TV that has Bravia Sync, you will be able to control the slideshow from the TV’s remote control. HDMI output has been added for users who want to show their photos directly to the big TV.

The A-230 weighs 15. 9oz (450g) and all three are more compact than previous models. The user interface has been changed to be more intuitive, but we’ll have to try that in the field to confirm. All models feature a swivel LCD display that is helpful when taking shots from an odd angle, or simply by extending the arm – that’s really useful in a crowd, you can trust us on that one. First of all,the cameras are lighter than previous models.

Sony introduces three new DSLR cameras, named a230, a330 and a380, for casual users who want to useDSLRs like awesome point and shoot cameras.

All four are entry-level lens. Along with the new cameras, Sony has released four lenses, including two fixed (and fast) ones.

Two new flash are also available.

For more details head to the press release[via photorumor].

Bundles with kit lenses will also be available. Prices: a380L ($850), a330L ($650), a230 ($550).
