The Whirlpool Chaac Water Dispenser was designed after being inspired by the Mayan Water God and modern Mexican society. This system will come with a carbon filter that further purifies tap water, while the built-in sensor dispenses the right amount of water simply by judging the size of the glass. Well, we know where our water comes from with this though – straight from the tap. This comes in view of Chaac (the Maya rain deity) who is believed to strike clouds, resulting in thunder and rain.

No idea if it will make its way Stateside though. The Tab-Dock is currently available in Japan and retails for a whopping $70 after conversion. The Tab-Dock mint dispenser might look like a Zippo from the front, but the innards have already been replaced with a mint dispenser mechanism instead. There is actually a cult following for Zippo lighters for reasons beyond comprehension, just like how some other people don’t understand what the excitement is all about when it comes to collecting comic books or baseball cards. Forget about offering friends a light – instead, you can give them a chance at having fresh breath before chatting up that hot chick at the end of the bar.

Most folks keep their rubbers in a drawer by the bed, ready to spring into action when the situation calls for it, but this $20 device is definitely something different to have in your room. We’re not too sure what to make of this, but a Condom Dispenser for your bedside? Sure, your buddies will probably think it is cool, but any female interest of your choice will probably shave off some points in her book where you are concerned after stumbling upon this little box when taking a tour of your house.

Designer Steven Grech has come up with a new pill dispenser that aims to improve patient compliance as it features an alert system via SMS to remind the user to pop designated pills are pre-programmed times of the day. Unfortunately, it isn’t sentient enough to know that the naughty patient has flushed those pills down the toilet instead of taking them with a glass of water, but we should see this device do well among the elderly should it ever be released. The device will also record when you took your medication, showing the pharmacist the correct intervals.
