The first term refers to software developed by one or more programs, which has the unique ability to keep open the source code for any developer interested in adding content to enrich the program and then develop it in greater depth.
To open content you are going to all those sites offering editorial content, multimedia, etc.. flosofia the open source and comes directly inspired by that of open content and has now become synonymous with freedom of expression, cultural relativism and obscurantism or rejection of any absolutist vision

Time flies, huh?

On another note, this is my last week at Intel! I will have a post on Friday, but I just wanted to give you a heads up before I leave. If you aren’t already an avid fan of my blog, be sure to check back on Friday for my last post. My last day is Friday, August 12th.

Source code is not yet available, but developers can take advantage of the SimplyAMT Library included in the archive. Refer to the documentation (in the Developers folder) for more information. The SimplyAMT Library can be added to y our Visual C# project to add IT Helper’s functionality to your application.

1. Hi – It’s bee n a while since we talked about the latest Intel

Way back in April, I posted an initial bl og (see Software Daydreams AMT Programming Made Easy) on some of the work we are doing to make developing for – Intel(R) AMT easier. The High Level API Home Page is where to go for a basic description and download information.

And it means that we have plans for more features. This is a “technology preview” release. What that means is that the software has been through a validation cycle and is at least “beta” quality. It also means that th ere may still be some rough spots.

However, what it: really means is We Want Your Feedback! Here is your chance to try something out and directly influence the de velopment and direction of the work we are doing. Let us know what you like, what you don’t like, what works, what doesn’t work, and what you’d like to see next.

Stephen Hibbert has already described his initial reaction in his blog: Working With Intel AMT: HLPAI! Stephen has had an, er, interesting job: learning AMT with just the SDK’s documentation and samples to help him; if his response to the HLAPI is a valid gauge, then we’ve really done something right, which of course is pretty pleasing.

and I recommend that you read what he has to say.

The way to do this is by posting in the Manageability Forums. (A little positive feedback goes a long way. We will be monitoring the forums to see if the HLAPI meets your needs, and to try to understand what we can do better in the future. (Please give enough information so that we can reproduce the problem. This is also the place to report any real bugs you may happen to find. ) And if you like what we’ve done, we want to hear that too!
