Whatever the outcome, we look forward to what Apple has to offer in addition to their rivals who seem to have a pretty hard time catching up.

Apple certainly isn’t resting on their laurels as they are currently looking into various ways to maintain and perhaps even extend their lead against rivals, as evident by this new filing which shows a future version of the iPhone complete with a front-facing video camera and software interface that can adjust itself for more a precise interaction whenever the user is carrying the phone while in motion. Guess the iPhone sometime down the road will finally be able to make video calls, something other 3G-enabled handsets have been able to do for years already, but what’s most interesting is the adaptive software interface concept. Should the concept materialize, we could be looking at a quantum leap of a user’s accuracy in making touch selections as the size of user interface elements on the display will be increased whenever the iPhone figures out the user is participating in some sort of motion-based activity.

That said, I disagree when Apple says that gaming on the PSP or DS doesn’t stack up to the iPhone. The (PSP/DS) games are actually often better in my opinon, but the DS and the PSP aren’t good at anything else, and the PSP is not really pocket-friendly.

The interesting part is that they have designed a custom interface. You can tap on a player directly to take control. It’s intuitive. The game is pretty well done.

that’s pretty impressive.

The controls are optimized for iPhone.

Ubi soft is spinning off a simple game based on its AC franchise. The graphics are simple but it’s a platform game that seems to hold its own.

Hey, the guy in the middle of the image(back of the crowd)is the mind-reading cop in Hero. (Seriously)

 Sep 9, 10:53 PT, Therefore. . .

he player has to move the device left and right to stay on the track.

Obviously all the fine details are on Apple’s website.

If you just want to see the latest products, check out – the short handson with the new iPod nano and the posts about the iPod touch 3G and iPod Shuffle price cut. Head to the full post to see everything that was captured.

We would like to thank everyone who followed today’s Apple event live with us. We’re grateful, so “thanks! It’s always exciting to capture these events (with Apple, but also others) and to share them live with you all. “

, Poor Dell…

Sep 9, 10:33 PT, iPod touch qualitiesOk that’s just mean! !

It’s clear that the sheer volume of devices out there makes the iphone/ipod touch platform impressive.

The place wasn’t very hard to find, I guess. . .

Just as the rumor said. . .

Sep 9, 10:31 PT, 20 Million iPod Touch sold!

That works in iTunes, obviously.

The videos are (of course) YouTube friendly.

It’s true that if you’re going to spend the money, why not get a nano?

Oh, right, that’s one way of looking at it It’s like buying alaptop and getting a “free” integrated webcam.

They carry heavy equipment, so they get some extra time to setup.

That’s the finale group before we get in.

Sep 9, 07:39 PT, Apple staff buzzing around

Here’s what Apple thinks of the shopping experience on the DS and the PSP. . . in contrast, Apple uses an all-digital distribution platform, which it says is much better.

Being able to manage the apps from iTunes 9 seems really handy.

Sep 9, 10:18 PT, This is pretty explicit

And it’s got 100M accounts. It’s huge for any retail business.

Apple has more games on its platform, but I’m sure that the debate will rage about whether or not their games are “better”.

Managing the phone from a computer is comfy. That’s particularely true when you have enouh storage to add a bunch of stuff in it.

Sep 9, 11:03 PT, [No Title]

It’s not really complicated, but the question is: wouldn’t that be better to get a centralized server? In the end, duplication might not be so bad, when storage is cheap.

Sep 9, 10:19 PT, iTunes Apps managementMay be, but it’s also more complicated to setup and use.

Action Babes was created keeping in mind the capabilities of the parental controls on the last firmware 3. The creators of Action Babes are seasoned with Apple for having invested thousands of dollars in creating this application and have since refused approval for publication in the ‘apple store.

Apple sold twice as many iPhone as it did in Q1 2008, showing that its design still have what it takes to win the hearts and wallets of customers, despite the economic crisis. We wonder how iPhone apps and iTunes music/video sales contributed to the bottom-line.

Whereas AT&T already offers such a deal, folks who want to go through that channel had to rely on a limit of one per customer, while Apple doesn’t really care how many units you pick up as they laugh their way to the bank. Unfortunately, you’re still stuck with AT&T if you don’t want to unlock your phone (and void your warranty). Folks who want to pick up an iPhone as a standalone unit without the hassle of being tied down to a 2-year contract will be able to do so via the Apple Store.

That’s good if you really dropped your phone in the sink, but you should know that the iPhone is particularly sensitive to moisture, including yours. . .

2″ tablet computer that would be priced around $800. It would be a touch-display 9. 7″ to 10. The rumor that Apple might be launching a low-cost ultraportable is coming from Taiwan’s InfoTimes.

Personally, I hope that it will have a full keyboard, because an $800 tablet-only (see Asus rumor)computer sounds like a niche market product.

In the past, Apple has dismissed the idea of building a Netbook (previous rumor) because they’re “Crap”, but with Intel’s CULV processors and Nvidia’s ION Apple could build something that can carry a decent “Apple experience” and still provide what people want: light, long battery, nice and (relatively) cheap – and not call it a Netbook.

Or, I know the perfect app! I am sure you have browsed through the Apple app store and thought one of two things. Well I am here to tell you that if you have the passion and a great idea you don’t need to know how to program. Either, why didn’t I think of that?

That’s right, no previous programming experience. If you’ve ever thought the later I am sure that thought was immediately followed by “too bad I don’t know how to program”.

Perhaps you thought of the perfect way to improve an existing app, to make it better/faster/more fun. Your idea should fill a need somewhere to someone. The first step would obviously be to have a solid idea.

Maybe you will make someone laugh, or solve some problem that was not previously even thought of.

For your reference you w ill need them to create your certificates, define your App ID’s, create your distribution profile, compile your app and upload to iTunes connect. A good developer will know exactly what you are going to need to get this done. Once they have finished you will be ready to submit to the Apple Store. If you are programmer what are you waiting for? Code like the wind. Code! If you are not, find one and let them w orry about the programming.

Play with your design, think of color palates. Think of what your customer will experience and draw a rough sketch of it. Once you think you have the visual aspect complete your or your artist should render each screenshot as you would like them to look. Make them look pretty; these will help sell your idea!

You, or your artist should sketch out every aspect of your application.

Build a team around the idea. If you have the idea and know it is a winner do what any good entrepreneur would do. It would help but honestly, no. Fortunes are not made by the people that don’t take risks.

This can be expensive yes, but this is about an idea that you know will make it right?

Get The Word Out

If you can do any of the following jobs, bonus. You may need a GUI designer for the more complex apps, an artist to help visualize your not yet created idea and someone for marketing and promotion.

If not you will need a programmer.

Writing Code And Submitting

The Idea

Now What?

And finally, download and install the latest SDK for the iPhone. 5. First you are going to have to join the Apple iPhone Developer Program. You’ll also need an iPhone or iPod Touch, a MAC with OS X 10. This is going to run you $99. The Developer Program will give you access to tons of technical resources that you are going to need. You will need a few things along the way to App Store riches of course. 5, get your own Non-Disclosure Agreement ready.

Storyboarding And Picture Time

Don’t I Need To Know What I am Doing?

Don’t give up. Once it’s out there let people know. Use social networking sites to let people know your app exists.

Create a web site. Release a press release.

” Whatever the outcome is, we look forward to this revolutionary way Apple has updated their iPod nano, wondering how many more improvements can be made that fall under the quantum leap category in the near future. Recent reports have pointed toward the next generation iPod nano (which will be its 5th iteration) that will feature an integrated digital camera as well as a more compact, circular scroll wheel that has a way to detect “input gestures that traverse the center of the scroll wheel and to detect multi-touch input. Apple’s famous Click Wheels on their iPod range could soon get a similar multi-touch treatment that is found on their iPhone, iPod touch and Macbook lines.
