Samsung X Series notebooks

Posted by: software on: 06 May, 2009

Samsung looks as though they’re jumping aboard the X bandwagon with their X Series of slim notebooks, where they are all powered by Intel’s Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) processors. While they ship with Windows Vista Home Premium, you can rest easy knowing that a free Windows 7 upgrade is thrown in when the latest operating system is available this coming October 22nd. They’ll all probably pack in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a memory card reader and HDMI output, although nothing’s confirmed yet.

6″ X520 and 11. The 14″ X420, 14. These new notebooks won’t be thicker than 1″, and they weigh a maximum of 4 pounds. 6″ X120 will feature a scratch-resistant UV coating alongside a delectable glossy finish, where the first two will have 6-cell batteries while the X120 comes with a 4-cell battery.
